Inktober 2026 - Day 11
My prompt was Butterfly.
I was okay drawing the basic outline shape but the lines inside were intimidating so I just added a circle at the top end of the wing. I will get braver.
I watercolored the wings with blue and green. The dots in bright orange. Added some champagne metallic watercolor on the wings.
Body in black.
The background turned out some much better than I anticipated.
Canson Fluid Mixed Media 154lb paper
Dip pen with permanent black acrylic ink so I could watercolor.
