Sometimes I run out of things to write about at the Garden Spot, so when one my blogger friends suggested that I do a mosaic post I thought, why not? Funny magpie story: I was taking my young daughter (years ago) to the doctor and as we drove down by the river, she spied a magpie and said, Look mamma, an Oklahoma parrot. We have laughed about that for years, never knowing where she came up with that. annhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01668006270534204954noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3786020007910968059.post-1380943000547264442017-05-31T01:30:41.208-06:002017-05-31T01:30:41.208-06:00Lovely snapshots of your week, the cherry tree loo...Lovely snapshots of your week, the cherry tree looks so like the one in our front garden which I adore.
I hope that there were two magpies following you, do you know the old English nursery rhyme which is also a counting song?
One for sorrow,
Two for joy,
Three for a girl,
Four for a boy,
Five for silver,
Six for gold,
Seven for a secret,
Never to be told!
Eight for a wish,
Nine for a kiss,
Ten for a bird,
You must not miss.

See you next week.Maggiehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16778709902157945708noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3786020007910968059.post-90199687083419030212017-05-30T17:41:18.472-06:002017-05-30T17:41:18.472-06:00The windstorm was fierce here last week, too.
