Sewing Project - Resize one of Mom's Quilts

I worked on this project most of the day.

Taking things apart is never fun.  I had to very careful because I was going to reuse the binding once I removed the damaged section.

Then it had quilting seams that had to be taken out as well. I had to hand stitch the ends of the seams which now formed the seam allowance on the new section.

I am super happy with the way it turned out.      It now measures 56" W x 85" T.
