Card - Framed Butterfly

I selected a red card to match the bit of red in the designer paper.  I cut the Spellbinder Label One in the DP and black shiny paper (it does not show in scan).  I punched the MS Monarch in the same card stock. I added a greeting with the Stampin Up Modern Label and Word Window combo.

I started with a green card. I cut a piece of designer paper then a larger one in light blue with the Spellbinder Label One Nestabilities.  I then used the direct to paper technique on the card front with an orange ink pad.  I adhered the Label One then added the Martha Stewart butterfly punchie in a bright orange color.  I added the greeting with the Stampin Up! Modern Label Punchie in the same card stock as the Label One and the Word Window punch with the greeting in green to match the card.

Card - Train

This card is for a little boy soon turning 3. I used a QuicKutz die. It has all the pieces on a 4" square die so I was able to cut each piece from a different color paper. I used the cool tool glue applicator to get just a bit of glue where I needed. The 3 is cut with the Cuttlebug Red Tag Alphabet dies. The blue sky piece of paper I crunched then flatten and rubbed an inkpad on the high points to create an interesting sky. I ripped a piece of DP paper to create the grass below the train.
I'm submitting this card to the CST Challenge #17 which needed punched or die-cuts.

Card - Farewell

We have a lady leaving our workplace who will be greatly missed. We had a potluck today for her to say "See you later" not goodbye. I made this large card to give everyone an opportunity to write a sentiment to her. She is an outdoors person so I decided it should have trees on it. I started with 8.5x11 Always Artichoke cardstock fold in half. I smudge the card with always several green inks with the direct to paper technique. I added some blue water cut with the Creative Memories wavy cutter and smudged it with navy ink. I added 3 triangle pine trees. Two are ivory and embossed with Cuttlebug Devine Swirl the other one is pearl cardstock. I added the setting sun behind the trees and I smudge a horizon line behind the trees. It would have been best to do that earlier. I added pearl stars in the sky. I stamped the sentiment with CTMH alphabet set in green ink.

Card - DP - Birthday Card

This is a birthday card I made to coordinate with the stack of cards I made. I started with an Old Olive card. I applied direct to paper technique with my Night of Navy stamp pad to the card. Then glued the squares in a couple of columns. Stamped the greeting in the bottom right hand corner with same inkpad.

Card Club - March - Tulip for Easter

This is the one card I created with the option of an Easter greeting. The tulip is my own drawing color printed directly on the card. The frame cut by Sizzix Retro Frame. I color printed the greeting then cut them out with the CM oval cutter. I understand they have swivel cutters now for this system. I should look into acquiring them. Again, versatile with many color options. I used the direct to paper technique on the white card with a bit of ink to offer a bit of dimension.
