I taught my card making session at CH tonight. I had some enthusiastic ladies participate.
This card features music paper cut to leave a small border on an ivory card.
The flower was cut with the Sizzix Flower, Leaves & Stem #4 from black card stock. The stem was cut to fit the length of the card.
I poked a hole in the center of the flower with a push pin. I placed the gold sequin and Prima paper flower onto the tiny black brad and inserted into the hole I made. I pressed the prongs apart on the inside of the card.
With no greeting it makes a great card for any occasion for a music lover.
This card makes a great one for the guys in your life.
I chose a grey card and cut the designer paper to leave a small margin and adhered it to the card front.
I wrapped the black ribbon around the card front and tied in a square knot on the front left.
The black label was cut with the Stampin Up Deco Label framelit. I printed the pelican and punched with 2" circle punch. It was adhered over the ribbon with 3D foam tape.
I started with a deep teal card. I cut the polka dot designer paper to leave a small border and adhered it to the card front.
I cut the flower from copper card stock with the Sizzix Daisy #4 die. It was adhered to the card front.
With a push pin I made a hole through the card front for the brad which holds the two handmade paper flowers (teal and terracotta) in the center of the flower.
The greeting was printed in a warm blue then punched with the Stampin Up Artisan Label Punch.
It was adhered to the card front with 3D foam tape.

Gold Polka Dot HB
I made this card for my aunt who is celebrating a birthday this week.
I started with this die cut which I used a while back. It goes really well on a 5x7 large card. The die is the Sizzix Flower, Leaves & Stem #4 which I cut the from black card stock.
This is my last metallic Prima Flowers from my stash. I guess I will have to cut them from now on.
I started with a black card scored and folded.
I added a layer of gold polka dots on kraft designer paper from Recollections.
I added the die cut flower, the gold metallic, the small die cut all held in place with a gold mini brad.
I adhered the stem below the flower then added a ripped piece of black card stock to represent dirt.

Card Club - October - Glitter Star
I started with the polka dot decorative card stock which was trimmed to leave a large border and adhered to the front of a red card.
I cut the stars with the Sizzix Star #2 die which cuts one large star. I used POW glitter card stock in silver and gold for the stars. The star was adhered to the polka dot layer.
I decided placement of the red star and used a push pin to create a hole in the card front. I then cut a length of white glitzy fiber. I wrapped onto the prongs of the red star brad and press those through the hole and pushed the prongs apart inside the card. Trimmed the ends of the fiber to length with scissors.

Easter Cards - Sunburst
I made a few Easter cards for my sale on the weekend. I used the Stampin Up Sunburst Thinlit. I cut a sunburst from polka dot designer paper in yellow at 4.00 x 5.25 inches and cut it aligned to the top left hand corner. I adhered it to a card front in a similar color. The greeting was created with a metallic rose scallop circle, then 1 3/8" yellow smooth circle and then the greeting punched with the Stampin Up 1 1/4" circle punch. The Easter layer was adhered to the scallop circle with 3D foam tape then this accent was adhered to the card front over the middle of the sunburst. The second card with blue card, yellow sunburst with a silver scallop circle, a navy circle with a blue greeting.

I copied Brenda's card at QbeeQuest. Check it out here.
On this card I used the same textured yellow card stock. I glued the yellow polka dot sunburst to the card front. I cut another sunburst in brown designer paper. I trimmed off the 4 corners to leave a cross. It was glued over the yellow sunburst aligning the edges. The sentiment combines a copper glitter scallop circle cut with the Spellbinder Nestabilities. The 1 3/8 inch circle was punched from dark brown card stock and the sentiment was punched with the 1 1/4 inch circle.
Note: I cut the sunbursts layers at 4" wide to maximize the 12x12 paper but I'm not sure it was worth it. Alignment is a challenge. When the layer is cut at larger than the 4.25 x 5.5" then you can just trim to the card edge. Easy peasy.

Card Club - May - Rust Masculine Card
With Father's Day coming up soon I decided to make a male card. I chose some DSP which had good colors on both sides. I cut it to 4x5.25 inches then again at 2 inches. I flipped the larger piece over to reveal the polka dots. I taped the pieces together on the back and the adhered the layer to the front of a blue card. I cut some rust corrugated card stock into 1 x 4.25 inch pieces. I placed these over the join and adhered it. I used push pin to create holes through the layers of the card front and put in 2 gold glitter stars. Pressed apart the prongs on the inside of the card. I color printed the greetings and punched them with the Stampin Up Modern Label punch. I layered them with a another punchie in an accent colored card stock. This layer was cut in half crosswise and glued off set on the right and left hand side. The greeting was adhered to the card front wit 3D foam tape.Left Card: DSP is graphic45 - Quilting Bee

Card Club - May - Felt Flower & Glitter
I started with the large felt flowers which have been in my stash for a while. The set had yellow, pink, turquoise, pink and green ones. I matched the card color with the flower. I chose a very blingy foil and glitter large polka dot background which was cut to leave a small border of card color adhered to the card front. This is really nice non shed glitter card stock. It provided a nice contrast to the matte felt flower. I just added a white silk flower in the center. The silk and felt flowers are held to the card front with a silver brad.

Card Club - Jan - Heart Doily
This is my nod to Valentine's Day. I colored the white paper doilies with scarlet and bronze liquid color. You can check the process in this post.
I stamped dots on the hearts with a VersaFine Onyx ink pad to repeat the dots in the background. I printed the polka dot background I designed onto a 4.25 x 11 inch card. Once folded, I placed adhesive on the solid center of the heart and placed it near the fold at the top of the card. I used a piece of thread which was dyed that the same time as the heart and added a piece of black thread. These were wrapped around the card front and knotted once. The metal heart charm was then added and then the another knot was made. The ends were trimmed.
