Warm Tea Cup

I cut the tea cup from designer paper from a pad named Sweet Dreams - Holiday Avenue by My Mind's Eye.  I cut the cup with the Cricut and the Folk Art Festival cartridge at 2.25 inches.   I cut the corresponding solid shape from dark red card stock and adhered it behind the patterned one.

I color printed the greeting layer.  I trimmed the top and 2 sides and ripped the bottom.  I needed something to anchor the shape so I pulled out the Stampin Up Watercolor Wonder Crayons and a paintbrush.  I mixed a color with Real Red, Bravo Burgundy and Ridinghood Red.  I painted a horizontal spot for the cup to sit on and then a swirl of steam off the top.

The cup is adhered with 3D foam tape.

R2G Card Kits - SU - Wonderful Wreath

Another Ready2Go Card Kit for a kid's Christmas Party!

This set has a Stampin Up True Thyme card base.  I used the Wonderful Wreath Stamp Set with the wreath in True Thyme.  The greeting in Riding Hood Red.  I added a RHRed Tafetta Ribbon bow held in place with a Zot.  This is such gorgeous ribbon, it ties beautifully and lies flat which makes a card which can easily be mailed.

Card - SU Thanks

I made this card for a friend who lent me a stamp stamp for a couple of weeks.

The card is Very Vanilla and the designer paper is from Everyday Enchantment pack.   I printed the greeting from the So Happy for You Stamp set on to VV card stock and trimmed it.  I added stitching with Red Riding Hood marker. I dyed the string with the same marker.  I added a length of 3/8"taffeta same colored ribbon around the designer paper then adhered it to the card front.  I tied the tag to the the ribbon with a small string.  I held the tag in place with a piece of 3D foam tape.
