Stack of Teacups

I started with the designer paper from Creative Imaginations which is watercolor with calligraphy words on it.  The variations in color provides lots of card color options. I chose a light warm green. It's light and summery. I cut the piece of DP to leave a small border.  I used the Memory Box Tea Cup Stack.  I cut the first layer in a soft aqua glossy card stock.  Then I cut it again from a deep blue green card stock.  This time making sure I did not lose any of the confetti pieces so that I could put them back in the holes of the first one.  I put scotch tape on the back of the aqua one and then just placed the pieces back in. Once all done, I trimmed the extra tape away from the outside edges with scissors.  I color printed my sentiment on white card stock then trimmed it to 2 x 5.25 inches.  I punched slots in the top and bottom with the Stampin Up punch.  I ran a caramel seam binding through the slot to the inside of the card and back through the slots in the top.  Tied a knot and trimmed the ends.

R2G - Dashing MC Apothecary

Another Ready 2 Go kit - this time in the SU Style.
I chose green and red card stock which coordinates with the designer paper.  I designed the greeting with a couple digital stamps and several other elements then I printed it onto vellum. The greeting matches the card color. I cut the vellum and the vanilla card stock at the same time so everything would match.  I punched slots on either end of the die cut with the slot punch. I matched the ribbon to the card color and taped it to the back of the designer paper.  Adhered the completed layer to the card front.

DSP: Dashing

Card - Farewell - Taupe Orchids

I made this half sheet card for a couple leaving our office.  I started with a taupe card onto which I layered a piece of Designer Paper by LilyBeeDesign - Buttercup - Puddles.  I trimmed the paper to center the paisley like design on the card front. I cut a Spellbinders Nestabilities Label 13 from the same cardstock and spattered it with white acrylic paint.  I punched holes in the top and bottom with the Stampin Up! slot punch.  I pulled 3/8` grosgrain ribbon through and taped the ends to the back of the DP.  I chose one of my photos of orchids and applied a sepia filter to it and printed it on white card stock. I cut it with a Spellbinders Oval Nestabilities and then cut a white oval in the next increment.  These were layered and adhered with 3D foam tape to the center of the label.  I placed a taupe brad through the ribbon and card front just above and below the oval center.

Card - Felt Daisy

I had one Felt Daisy leftover after finishing my R2G kits so I made this card to add to my card box.
I started with a red card onto which I adhered the Sizzix Bigz Frame Back Ornate #8 cut from green designer paper.  I punched 2 slots with the Stampin Up! punch on both sides of the frame.  I strung a length of caramel seam binding through the slots and around the back of the card front and tied a knot on the front.  I placed the red daisy onto a caramel card stock oval cut with SB Nestabilities. It is held in place with a tiny red brad.  I mounted this accent onto the frame with 3D foam tape.

Card Club - Sept - HB Label

Card Club gets going today for the fall session.
I started with a Kiwi Kiss card onto which I glued a piece of Designer Paper leaving a small border. I cut the turquoise label with the TH Stylized Labels and them embossed them with the Cuttlebug Swiss Dots folder. I punched the holes on either side with the SU Slot punch.  I strung a piece of white seam binding though the holes on the label and taped the ends to the inside of the card.  I added a bit of double sided tape to the back  of the label to keep it in place on the card front.  I adhered the scallop circle color printed greeting to the label with 3D foam tape.
