I up-cycled this Damask calendar with all you need to quickly finish the calendar. I added decorative photo corners cut with the Cricut and the Picturesque Cartridge. I've cut them from metallic and pearl card stock. I've combined
the silver and gold,
the white and blue and
the copper and black.
I then added enough mounting squares to adhere the photos and the corners. Ready to go! Just add your pictures. The kids, the trip, the celebration, the anniversary, the wedding pictures or anything else you can think of or what to remember! See my calendar page for further details.

Gift - Christmas
I created this little gift which would contain these small sheets. The holder was cut with the Stampin Up! Petal Card die. I used double sided Christmas scrapbooking cardstock. I added 1/8" hole on the outside flaps through which a length of 7/8" red organza ribbon has been run and knotted on the front. I designed the small sheets to go inside with a gift on one corner. The person giving the gift would write the gifts the person has given them. Things like "Friendship", "A hug when they needed one", "A break from the kids", "Prayer", "Family" & "Encouragement".

Photo Calender - Angels
This is this year's calendar. They make great gifts. I've put together photos I took over the year into a 2011 calendar. I've been to cemeteries, churches, Christmas displays and other places to take photos of a variety of angels. The photo on the front here is one of the angels that guards the Book of Remembrance in the Peace Tower in Ottawa which holds the names of each Canadian soldier lost in war. I have praying angels, heralding angels, rejoicing angels, singing angels and musical angels. Here's my calendars from last year.

Photo Calendars
The garden calendar has a few closeups of flowers and garden ornaments like statues and water ponds. I really liked the shot of the door on the front of the calendar. That shot was a Parkwood Estate in Oshawa. This gave me the opportunity to use my Zutter Bind It All machine to install the o-wire binding at the top. I used MS Publisher for the layout. I'm happy with how they turned out.
