Kinsey is moving into her new office.
Kinsey is approached by Lt. Con Dolan to work to clear an old case where he and Detective Stacey Oliphant found a young girl in a quarry outside Lompoc. It would give Stacey some peace in his last days.
Stacey helps out where and when his health permits.
Turns out it was a love triangle where a woman killed another to ensure stability with the man. Twenty years later she kills again to keep her secret.
