Slow Stitching Fabric Patches

I have been wanting to make some of these so I decided to make some for a prize at our family event.

1. A red left ladybug on white linen on blue denim. 

2. Hills and sun collage onto a cotton foundation layer. Pink French Knots in the foreground. Sewn to a piece of heavy black cotton.

3. A yellow felt sun on white linen stitched to a piece of blue denim.

4. A red felt heart with a white stitched flower onto a piece of white linen sewn to a piece of heavy striped cotton fabric.

5. Four birthday candles made with fabric scraps with stitched flames on a couple pieces of white linen. Sewn to a piece of heavy black cotton.

6. A blue bird stitched to some linen which was sewn to a piece of blue denim.

The patches measure 3 5/8 inches square.  It was a good start to a slow stitching project.
