These cards were created based on my Inktober project but I had cut the paper too small so I did not want to waste so drew some similar images and turned them into A2 cards. Finally, getting around to finishing these.
This is a abstract image of geometric shapes and painted with watercolor.
The shapes were penciled with 2H, traced with black permanent acrylic ink, then watercolored in yellow, blue and green.
It was spattered with the black ink.
Mounted to a Garden Green card based with a quarter sheet insert and a white envelope.
A tiny flower in the pink heart and lines in the purple heart.
I added a warm watercolor wash as the background.
Mounted to a Rose Red A2 card base. I added a quarter sheet insert and white envelope.
I drew and inked the image.
I then watercolored the sky, the sun, the mountains and the trees.
The paper was cut 3.75 x 5 inches. It is Canson Fluid Mixed Media 154lb paper. It is reasonably priced in my area and is a charm to work on.
I mounted the art to a So Saffron A2 card base.
Added a quarter sheet insert and a white envelope.
I think it adds a different dimension to the art. I painted the background with blue and green.
The echinacea flower in pinks.
Mounted to a Pretty in Pink A2 card base.
A white quarter sheet insert and a white envelope.
I designed him based on some inspiration which I forget now.
The image was outline with Sepia acrylic ink. The main was also done with the permanent ink.
A warm body and perfect tail. A bit of a ground to support him.
Mounted to a Early Espresso A2 card.
Added a white quarter sheet insert with a warm beige envelope.
Warm background.
Mounted to a purplish blue card base in A2.
A white insert with white envelope.
Painted with watercolor.
Mounted on a warm red A2 card base.
White insert and white envelope.
A few cards for my card box. It is all good.
