Cards - Upcycled Photos
I've used some photos from the 4x6 photo calendar which were no usable as a result of a mix up at the photo developer. I really wanted to find a way to up those 4x4 inch photos in cards for the upcoming sale.
Here's the answer. I trimmed the photo to 3.75" then layered it onto a complementary piece of card stock. This was then mounted onto a coordinating card. I designed the greetings to match the colors in the card. Printed them and then die cut them with the Apothecary Framelit. It was then mounted to the card with 2 tiny black brads.

Card Club - October - Cricut Flower
I create this card with the extra flowers I had from my incentive cards. I color printed a dotted background on the card. I cut the label with Spellbinder Label 9 nestabilities in navy card stock. I cut the flowers with the Cricit. The centre is a large circle punch. I cut the stem with a Sizzix medium Leaf Stem die in a light green card stock. I cut off one of the leaves from the stem. I glued the flower to the top leaf on the stem arranging that it would come between 2 petals. I glued the flower to the label die which I then glued to the card front.

Card Club - October - Pears DP
The card features some terrific Designer Paper from Basic Grey with pears and flowers on it. I decided to make the card the deep burgundy color in the paper and selected a teal card stock for the eyelet border. The border was made with the SU border punch. I used the Modern Label punch with the Word Window punch for the color printed greeting. The DP was cut to 2.5 inches then the teal to 3" and border punched then split in two.

Card Club - October - Pinwheel
Tonight is Card Club and we are making another set of occasion cards.
I selected my papers for the pinwheel then decided on a black card. I used a pattern created by my sister for the pinwheel. You will find the pattern here. I punched my squares with a punch which made them 1 3/8". I printed the pattern ensuring that the squares were that size. This pattern works very well! Thanks Therese. Once I had the pinwheel assembled I embossed a white layer with the Cuttlebug Swiss Dots embossing folder. I then glued the pinwheel to the top and I wrapped a piece of 1/4" black gross grain ribbon around below it. I glued this assembled piece to the card front. I added the button to the centre of the pinwheel with a Zot. I glued the Word Window greeting to the Modern Label then adhered it over the ribbon with 3D foam tape.r

Card - Challenge - Pink Black White
I made this card for the Home Card Challenge on my CST group. The challenge was a color challenge.
I started with a black card onto which I adhered a piece of Designer Paper in pink stripes. I added a piece of black gross grain ribbon vertically on the card and taped the ribbon ends to the inside. I cut a Spellbinders Label Nine nestabilities in dark pink then a smaller one in another designer paper with pink shoes. I glued these together then adhered it over the ribbon. I added a SU eyelet border in white at the top over the ribbon and DP. I added a SU Modern Label punchie in black with a pink SU Word Window greeting.

Invites - 60 Wed Anniversary
I started with a soft lavender card. I embossed the white layer with the Cuttlebug Rebecca folder. I then trimmed it all around to leave just a small border of card color. I cut the oval accent with my Spellbinder nestabilities dies. The oval accent works really well in the centre of the embossed layer. The scalloped oval for the lavendar and smooth oval for the white layer. I color printed the central oval and then cut it. These were glued together and then mounted in the center of the embossing with 3D foam tape.
60 years of marriage is a great testament their love, commitment and faith. Congratulations!

Card - Challenge - Snowflakes
I made this card for a couple of challenges:
Weekly Christmas Card Challenges - Sparkles - color combo
Christmas Cards All Year Round - Non traditional colors
I started with a blue card which I embossed the card front with the Cuttlebug Snowflake folder. I chose caramel, grey and yellow for the snowflakes cut with the SU! Snow Flurry Snowflake die which are held in place with a blue brad. I then cut a background label with the TH Styled Labels die in the same yellow I used for the snowflake. I selected caramel seam binding which I taped to the card front just off center. Then I glued the background label which was embossed with the Cuttlebug Swiss Dots folder. I mounted then snowflake accent with 3D foam tape. I stamped the greeting on yellow in blue and then punched it with the SU Word Window punch. This was mounted with 3D foam tape as well.

Card - Challenge - HJ - Scrappy Christmas
I made this card for the challenge at Holly Jolly which is Scrappy Christmas. Encouraging us to use our scraps of paper.
I started with a purple card onto which I adhered a white layer leaving a border. I found left overs from these cards. I cut them in various widths and trimmed the bottom ends to a slant. I glued them to the white layer with the tops being at the same height. I put a strip of gold glitter paper across the stripes. I cut the greeting layer with one of the Apothecary Framelit then stamped the greeting in purple. I then cut another label in card purple, cut it in half and layered those behind greeting. I punched .25 inch circle from the gold glitter and glued them into the bump on the greeting.

R2G - Ice Cream Layered Tree - Card Kits
I created this kit with the inspiration from these I made last year. I selected the ice cream colors of turquoise, pink and green. I cut the tree with a new die from Dee's Distinctively Dies called Christmas Tree Stackers. I cut of lot of them in these 3 colors then mixed up the colors to create trees about 4.5 inches high. I designed the background of snowflakes, stem, hill and greeting. This was printed onto the card leaving space for the tree and star to be added. I glued the tree down then added the yellow star.

R2G - Glitter & Snowflake - Card Kit

I made this kit with Designer Paper from a My Mind's Eye Glitter 12x12 pad. I cut the 2 pieces of DP to 4x5.25" then cut again at 3". The 2 pieces were taped together at the back switching the patterns. This layer was glued to the card front. I placed a small bit of adhesive in the centre of the ribbon then place it across the card over the join of the papers. I placed a small slit with an exacto knife in the card fold and pulled the ribbon through and taped both ends to the inside of the card. Then I glued the centre of the SU! Snow Flurry Snowflake die to the ribbon. I adhered the button to the centre of the snowflake with a Zot.
R2G - Sequin Star - Card Kit
I've been working on my inventory of card kits. Here's a Christmas one.
I started with a black card. I printed the Christmas script background on gold parchment and trimmed it to leave a small border. I created the star accent by cutting the star in the same card stock as the card using the Cricut and the Joy of the Season cartridge. I mounted a gold star circle sequin onto the front and hold it in place with 2 tiny gold brads. This star accent is held in place with 3D foam tape.
I have used jewel toned card stock in the kit - black, burgundy, green and blue.

Card - Challenge - Squares
I made this card for the Home Card Challenge on CST.
I started with the designer paper which is squares of course. Then I trimmed it to 4" square and cut it in half. I glued the halves to the top and bottom of the card leaving a space in the middle. I placed a pink gross grain ribbon across the middle and pulled the end through a slit in the fold and taped the ends to the inside of the card. I cut the greeting with a Memory Box die in bright green. Adhered it with snail adhesive. It went together pretty easy!

Christmas Card Challenge - Oct - Navy Red and Silver
October is a color challenge - Navy Red and Silver. I wanted to use my newly acquired SU! Ornament stamp set. The Joy one is my favorite. I stamped it in Versamark and embossed in silver. I punched it out and place a small hole in the hanger with a 1/16" punch. I pulled through a length of crochet cotton to create the hanger. I wanted to repeat the swirls in the ornament so I embossed the silver top layer with the Cuttlebug D'vine Swirl folder. I punched the bottom of the layer with the SU! Eyelet border punch. I selected some red Designer Paper for bottom portion of the card. I taped the ornament string to the red before adhering the silver embossed layer. Once the silver was adhered I wrapped a length of white 1/4" gross grain ribbon across and taped the ends to the back of that layer. This was then all glued to the navy card front. I left my ornament hanging loose.
