I've been inspired by tea related blogs I have visited through this challenge.
As a result, I changed up the colors in the cookie jar. I replaced the red with the yellow freesias which I save and dried. This color fits in better with the turquoise and golden yellow in the other items on the table. The napkins were a great buy at Superstore. I purchased a new glass cream, sugar and bowl set which works well with all the other pieces. Even the tea sachets are in the same color scheme.
I could not resist a macro shot of the round glass ball on the cookie jar. Should have taken pics in natural light but worked on card ideas all day.

Hello Sylvia
ReplyDeleteI love your Spring tablescape - the colours are beautiful.
I love freesias and their fragrance, what a great idea to dry them - I hadn't thought of that. Silly I know as I always dry my roses, dahlias, pansies - they are lovely to put on cards or pop inside a book as a gift!
Lovely to meet you and thank you for visiting my blog and leaving your kind comment.

Love the spring colors ! :)
ReplyDeleteA good idea to make use of clear storage containers to add some colour, I like that some feature their pretty cupcake liners in a cookie jar.
