I started by creating a bit of a background with washi tape. I chose bright summer colors in turquoise, yellow and pink. I embossed the remainder of the background layer with the Cuttlebug Script folder. This was adhered to a turquoise card.
The cup was cut with the Cricut and the Joy of the Season cartridge from white card stock at 1.5 inches. I then applied some black lace and solid washi tape to it and trimmed it to the edge. I used a black marker and traced around the outside edge and colored in the handle. It was adhered over the washi half with 3D foam tape.
I put a flower on the right hand embossed side. The black flower was cut with the Tilda Buckle from Memory Box Dies. I added a baker's twine stem and leaf. The ends are brought to the inside of the card and taped in place. I placed a small yellow handmade paper flower in the center and all is held in place with a tiny black brad.
