This card is for my blog Christmas Card Challenge for July which is White Circle.
I chose a white doily for the main element which measures 4.5 inches. I chose to put it on an A6 white card. I glued some white fabric snowflakes around the interior circle of the doily. I then put a few iridescent sequins held in place with tiny white brads.
I used a greeting from my stash in a purple color and tacked it below the wreath and trimmed it to the card edges.
I placed a few more fabric snowflakes & sequin combos with a couple on the greeting and a couple in each top corners.
I wanted a subtle white on white textured card. I really like the texture the doily provides.
I am pairing this card with a Pop Tone Black Licorice A6 black envelope which was provided by Paper Garden.
Have you started on your Christmas cards? Summer time with a slower pace is a good time to get started or get a stack of cards made.

Doily Birthday Card
This is a card for my sister for her birthday. I have delivered her gift already.
I chose card stock from the collection that Paper Garden provided for the Mother's Day Challenge. This one is Stardream Aquamarine because her favorite color is green. I placed a 5.5" white paper doily on the front of the landscape wide card and folded the rest to the back. I tacked it down with dry adhesive tape runner. I placed the scallop circle greeting in the center of the doily and added 2 handmade paper flowers in the center. They are held in place with an iridescent flower sequin and a pink tiny brad. I added a piece of pink seam binding across the bottom third of the card to repeat the pink color. I placed 3 iridescent flower sequins along the ribbon centered on the card. They are held in place tiny pink brads.
I gave her clear acrylic napkin rings that look like cut glass crystal. I have been looking for a long time for something that would work. I photographed them with my dishes which are very vibrant but hers are white, pale gray and a hint of blue so these will work very well with the set. The napkins have a square offset shiny matte pattern, which again will go well for those times when she is having friends or family in for dinner.
Happy Birthday!!
I had supper with her and her husband on June 3 and we enjoyed great Korean food.

This is captured Sunshine. I have several prisms in my living room window. When I open the curtains in the morning the sunshine highlights bouncing around the room as the crystals move and swing. I captured one of these on the cushion of the chair. The colors are all there!! Love it.
This is a photo of a lake in Northern Ontario. There are just a million
of them. There seems to be one on every corner. This is my favorite
for this week.

Card Club - May - Handmade Paper Flower
I had a request from some of the girls for wedding cards so this what I made. I found a frame on CLKER which I modified. I made it a medium grey color and printed directly onto the card. I then adhered a white doily inside the frame and trimmed the rest off below the greeting. I adhered a handmade paper flower accent I purchased to the center of the doily. I printed a greeting in the same color as the frame. It was trimmed close the the border with scissors. It was large and stretched across the width of the card. It was adhered to the card with 4 pieces of 3D foam tape.

It turned out well.
I had flowers in other colors like green, turquoise, pink, peach.

Invitations - Wedding Invitations
I prepared these cards as samples for wedding invitations for a friend who is getting married later this summer.
The card base is white with a embossed white layer done with the Cuttlebug Swiss Dots folder. I wrapped a piece of wide white organza ribbon toward the bottom of the layer leaving room for the lattice die and taped the ends to the back. The lattice die was cut from aqua glossy card stock. It was cut with the Stampin Up Lattice Die. I placed a white felt flower cut with the SU Blossom Party Bigz die. The small flower in the center was punched with a small punch in the same aqua card stock. These layers are held in place with a tiny white brad through all the layers to the card front. I added some diamond shaped aqua pieces left over from the die cutting. They are held in place with Zots.
The second one was a card with a top fold. I placed a white doily on the card front and folded the extra to the inside of the card. I cut a piece of vellum with the smooth circle Spellbinder Nestabilities which was adhered to the centre of the doily. I then punched 2 hearts from white card stock with the Stampin Up Sweetheart punch. They were embossed with the Sizzix Tropical Paisley embossing folder. The one in front was adhered with 3D foam tape. I added a piece of turquoise baker's twine wrapped around the card front above the doily.
I will post the one she selected a little later once her guests have received theirs.

Card Club - Jan - Heart Doily
This is my nod to Valentine's Day. I colored the white paper doilies with scarlet and bronze liquid color. You can check the process in this post.
I stamped dots on the hearts with a VersaFine Onyx ink pad to repeat the dots in the background. I printed the polka dot background I designed onto a 4.25 x 11 inch card. Once folded, I placed adhesive on the solid center of the heart and placed it near the fold at the top of the card. I used a piece of thread which was dyed that the same time as the heart and added a piece of black thread. These were wrapped around the card front and knotted once. The metal heart charm was then added and then the another knot was made. The ends were trimmed.

R2G Card Kit - Valentine - Paper Heart Doily
This is the first card design of a large order of Ready 2 Go Valentine card kits I have just finished preparing. It was an order for 100 card kits. Valentine is not my usual thing so creating these card designs was a bit of a stretch for me.
You will remember these doily hearts from this posting. I created a polka dot background in black that I printed directly onto the card. This card is 4.25 x 11 and therefore has the fold at the top of the card. I wanted to add a bit of black to the heart to help tie it all together. I used a Stampin Up Itty Bitty Background stamp with Versafine Onyx Black. I placed my adhesive on the solid centre of the heart and placed it at the top of card. I dyed the thread at the same time as the hearts so they match perfectly. I added a black thread as well which I wrapped around the card front and knotted on the front. I added a metal heart charm before I tied the second knot. I trimmed the thread ends and added my insert.
