Pop Up Gift Card Holder

I'm working on gift card holders for last minutes gifts.

For this one, I used the Stampin Up Card Base Pop'n Cuts Die.  The card stock is River Rock with Holiday Thyme designer paper cut with the Top Note die.  I added an Ornament punchie stamped with the Delightful Decorations ornament in Cherry Cobbler on Very Vanilla.  I added a bit of Cherry Cobbler twine.  I created the dip in the pop up with the Word Window punch.  I added a piece of DSP which matched the front then a sentiment from the Festival of Trees stamp set. I followed up with the rest of the sentiment on a piece of Very Vanilla which I cut again with the Top Note.

I love the way this card closes with the tabs in the slots.

R2G Christmas Stack Kit - Holiday Poinsettias

For this Ready 2 Go Card Kit I chose the OSW3 template which makes 4 cards per 6x6 inch of DSP.  I chose the poinsettias paper from the Stampin Up Holiday Thyme collection.  The card colors are Cranberry Crisp and Bravo Burgundy and Old Olive for the accent layer.  The greetings were put on Whisper White.  The greetings are from the Joyful Christmas, Lovely as a Tree, Keepsake Ornaments, Calm Christmas stamp sets. The red in the greeting matches the card and the green is Old Olive.  The greetings were cut with the Window Frame framelit and the accent square is 2.5 inches.  The accent layer is adhered to the card front with 3D foam tape.  The accent strip is half an inch wide and trimmed at the card edge.
The one sheet wonder technique allows one to make a lot of cards quickly.  This kit is available for my SU Christmas Stack class on June 8th.

Challenge - Holly Jolly - Ribbon

I made this for Holly Jolly's Challenge this week which is Ribbon or Lace.  I just received my Stampin Up Keepsake Ornaments and the matching Ornaments Framelits.  I printed the ornament in SU Cranberry Crisp on Very Vanilla.  I cut it with the framelit.  I used a piece of SU Holiday Thyme DSP at the top of the card.  I stamped the bottom half with the Build a Background in Always Artichoke.  I placed a piece of Cranberry Crisp ribbon at the top of the card where the ornament will be placed and adhered the bottom end and taped the other end to the inside of the card. I placed a piece of True Thyme ribbon across the bottom edge of the DSP.  I cut a slit in the fold and pulled the left hand side end to the inside of the card and taped it down.  The right hand was folded over and taped down on the inside of the card. I adhered my Keepsake Ornament with 3D foam tape to add dimension and make room for the 2 layers of ribbon.

Simple Christmas Angel

I made a few of these for my own Christmas card box as it is not as full as it should be at this time of year.
The card is Stampin Up True Thyme.  The wings were cut in brushed gold with the SU Elegant Bird die and embossed with the SU Vintage Wallpaper embossing folder.  The skirt was cut from SU Holiday Thyme DSP. The head is a 1" circle punchie in Very Vanilla.  The greeting was stamped in Always Artichoke with the MC from the Come to Bethlehem set on Very Vanilla. It was clear embossed.  It was then punched out with the SU Modern Label punch. Another punchie of the same shape was made from the same color card stock as the card.  This punchie was split in half lengthwise, the centre bump at both ends was snipped off and they were adhered behind the greeting offset top and bottom. The greeting and head were adhered to the card with 3D foam tape.
This is submitted to Hazel's Christmas Card Challenge - Anything Goes.

R2G Card Kit - Simple Angel

Another Ready 2 Go Card Kit - SU Style.  I started with Holiday Thyme DSP which I cut into triangles. These are 3" W and 4" T.  This makes maximum use of the 12x12 sheet of DSP. They could be a little taller.  I cut the wings from brushed gold card stock 2 a time with the metallic facing itself using the Stampin Up Elegant Bird die. I embossed them with the Northern Flurry Textured Impression embossing folder. They were taped together ensuring that they were not too wide for the card. I punched the heads with a 1" circle punch from Very Vanilla card stock.  I stamped the greeting on Very Vanilla with the MC stamp from the Come to Bethlehem set in Bravo Burgundy for the red and Always Artichoke for the green since I did not have either ink color for the card stock used. I then clear embossed them.  I punched a Modern Label punchie from the same card stock as the card, split it in half lengthwise and snipped off the center bumps from both ends. I glued each half offset from the top and bottom of the greeting punchie. Once I had aligned the skirt onto the wings leaving enough room for the head I turned them over carefully and taped them together. They were then glued to the card front.  I mounted the head as planned with 3D foam tape and the greeting likewise at the bottom of the skirt.  The kit includes 2 Cranberry Crisp cards and 2 True Thyme cards.
