R2Go Christmas Card Kit - Penguin Ear Muffs

I started with a navy card and a navy, blue, white and glitter square accent featuring a skating penguin with red glitter ear muffs.

I printed a square to frame the penguin accent layer.  I adhered the accent square to the frame.  This layer was adhered to the card front aligned to the top of the card leaving an even border on 3 sides.

I color printed 2 greetings. I selected my banner greeting then trimmed with scissors. I cut a piece of 3D foam tape in half and placed a piece on each end of the greeting.  I then adhered the greeting below the accent layer

I adhered a quarter sheet insert on the inside of the card on the right hand side.

I printed a frame on white card stock.  I adhered the penguin accent to the frame.  I applied a piece of 3D foam tape to each corner.

I wrapped the white seam binding around the card front.  I tied a knot and moved it to the right hand side.

I adhered the accent square aligned to the left to leave a small border on 3 sides making sure my knot was to the right of the accent.

I adhered the greeting of my choice to the top right hand corner of the accent layer.  I adhered the quarter sheet insert to the bottom half of the inside of the card. I trimmed the ends of the ribbon with scissors.

Ready2Go Christmas Stack Kit - Winter Bright

I used the Stampin Up Winter Bright Designer paper which features Wild Wasabi and Bashful Blue.  I selected card stock in the main colors.  I chose a .5 inch red cotton ribbon.  The focal element features large and medium white silk poinsettias with daisy confetti in a coordinating color.  The DSP was cut with a One Sheet Wonder Template.

On this first card I chose to match the DSP with the card color - Wild Wasabi.  I cut the card stock at 4.25W x 11T inches and scored it at 5.5 inches.  I glued the DSP measuring 4.25W x 3.00T inches along the bottom edge.  I adhered the red ribbon over the top edge of the DSP and taped the ends to the inside of the card.  I used a push pin to make a hole in the ribbon and card front and the red daisy confetti.  I placed the prongs of the tiny white brad through the confetti, the medium then large poinsettia then through the card front, opening the prongs on the inside of the card.

For this second card, I matched the card color - Bashful Blue with the Winter Bright designer paper. Again, the card is cut at 4.25W x 11T inches and scored it at 5.5 inches.  I glued the DSP measuring 4.25W x 3.00T inches along the right hand edge.  I adhered the red ribbon over the left edge of the DSP and taped the ends to the inside of the card.   I used a push pin to make a hole in the ribbon and card front and the red daisy confetti.  I placed the prongs of the tiny white brad through the confetti, the medium then large poinsettia then through the card front, opening the prongs on the inside of the card.
For this third card, I chose the card color - Wild Wasabi and the Bashful Blue side of the Winter Bright designer paper. Again, the card is cut at 5.5W x 8.5T inches and scored it at 4.25 inches.  I glued the DSP measuring 5.25T x 1.75W inches along the right hand edge of the card.

The cutting pattern I used is the OSW1.  I tipped the orientation of card 3 to tall instead of wide based on the layout template.

R2G Card Kits - SU - Wonderful Wreath

I used the Stampin Up Wonderful Wreath on this card as the central element.  It's done in Handsome Hunter.  The greeting is from the All Holidays set, done in Cherry Cobbler. These are on a Whisper White layer trimmed to 4.00 x 5.25 inches leaving the small border all the way around. I added a bow made with Cherry Cobbler Scalloped Tulle Ribbon.  I cut the piece to about 3.5 inches then gathered it together in the center and tied it off with a piece of white thread.  The tails were trimmed even. Some times I trimmed the ends of the bow as well to have each side even. It's held in place with a Zot. This is a bow that does not create a lot of thickness so it makes it mail friendly.

R2G Card Kits - SU - Believe

Here's my next Stampin Up Ready 2 Go Card kit.  Again, I selected Winter Frost Designer Paper. I cut the DSP to 2.12 x 5.5 inches. I chose Pool Party card stock onto which I put stamps from Snowflake Soiree set, The snowflake in Smoky Slate and Believe in Bermuda Bay. I adhered the DSP layer it to the bottom of the landscape card. I then adhered a .5 x 5.5 inch strip of Whisper White over the edge of the DSP.  I added 3 rhinestones in clear and warm blue with Bling Zots to the right hand side of the white strip.

R2G Card Kits - SU - Jumbo Snowflake

I was asked to create some Stampin Up Ready 2 Go Card kits.  This is my first one.

I started with Winter Frost Designer Paper.  I cut it to 4.25 x 3.25 inches and adhered it to the bottom of the Smoke Slate portrait card. I placed the greeting combo from An Eventful Year and Remember December in Basic Grey in the top left hand corner. I cut a strip of Pool Party 4.25 inches wide and glued that at the top of the designer paper just overlapping a smidge. I punched a snowflake from Whisper White with the Jumbo Snowflake Punch and adhered it on the blue strip on the right hand side.

Christmas Ornament - Silver and Gold

I started with the designer paper which had grey/silver and brown/gold ornaments.  It was not metallic paper so there was no shine.  I cut the full 12x12 sheet into 2 inch strips.  I chose ivory and grey card stock for the cards.  I cut the ornaments with the Sizzix Ornaments #4 die from silver and gold metallic card stock and then swapped the pieces to create full ornaments which were taped on together on the back.  I placed the silver ones on the ivory card and the gold on the grey card. I adhered the stripe of designer paper on the left hand side.  Adhered a half in card stock strip over the right hand edge.  The ornament was then aligned on the right hand edge of the strip. I selected 2 snowflake sequins which I placed in the hanger of the ornament, it is held in place with a tiny gold star brad.

R2G All Occasion Stack Kit - Porcelain Prints

Here's another Ready 2 Go All Occasion Stack kit.
I chose Stampin Up Porcelain Prints DSP which offered a good variety of colors.  The cards are Wild Wasabi, Bayou Blue and River Rock.  The greetings are on Very Vanilla and cut with SB smooth circle Nestabilities at 2 3/8 for the solid and 2 1/8 for the greeting.  The greetings were selected from the Wetlands, Teeny Tiny Wishes and Wonderful Wings stamp sets.  The colors chosen coordinate with the card colors (BB, RR, WW). I chose greetings for the more challenging times in life when a softer design and paper works best.

The DSP was cut to 4" squares.  I adhered a piece of Very Vanilla Satin Ribbon to the edge of the DSP and adhered the ends to the back.  This layer was adhered to the card front in either the wide or tall orientation.  The greeting was adhered to a solid accent circle in a coordinating color.

This kit is available for my June class.

R2G Christmas Stack Kit - Holiday Poinsettias

For this Ready 2 Go Card Kit I chose the OSW3 template which makes 4 cards per 6x6 inch of DSP.  I chose the poinsettias paper from the Stampin Up Holiday Thyme collection.  The card colors are Cranberry Crisp and Bravo Burgundy and Old Olive for the accent layer.  The greetings were put on Whisper White.  The greetings are from the Joyful Christmas, Lovely as a Tree, Keepsake Ornaments, Calm Christmas stamp sets. The red in the greeting matches the card and the green is Old Olive.  The greetings were cut with the Window Frame framelit and the accent square is 2.5 inches.  The accent layer is adhered to the card front with 3D foam tape.  The accent strip is half an inch wide and trimmed at the card edge.
The one sheet wonder technique allows one to make a lot of cards quickly.  This kit is available for my SU Christmas Stack class on June 8th.

R2G Christmas Stack Kit - Christmas Cocoa

Here's my next set of Ready 2 Go Card Stack kit.  In this one I chose the OSW1 Template which produces 3 card layouts per 6x6 DSP.
The Stampin Up DSP is called Christmas Cocoa and has Real Red, Soft Suede and Whisper White as it's colors.
The greetings stamp set I chose is Owl Occasions in those colors.  The accent layers are the opposite from the card color so Soft Suede on the Real Red the other way around on the Soft Suede card.  Each of the accents have both colors included.  The greetings were cut to 2.75" with an accent layer of 3 inches.

The card layout presents 2 wide cards and 1 tall card. Of course, the pieces can all be changed in orientation to make cards the as you prefer. The kit makes 12 cards.

R2G Christmas Stack Kit - Winter Green

Here's another Ready 2 Go Christmas Stack Kit made with the 6x6 One Sheet Wonder cutting plan and card layouts
This time I used a retired Stampin Up DSP called Winter Green.
I chose the stripes as well as this bold floral pattern. I pulled 4 sheets of 12 x 12 which I cut into 6 x 6 pieces.  I decided to not use the set with the Stampin Up credit in the corner and besides I needed a some paper to make my card samples so it was a win win.
I picked Always Artichoke, Soft Sky and Certainly Celery for the card bases.
I chose the Owl Occasions Stamp Set.  The greetings are put on white card stock and cut to 2.75" square.  The greetings are mounted to the card front with 3D foam tape.
I chose Sage Shadow for layers on 2 of the kits and Certainly Celery for the other kit as I did not have enough of the Sage Shadow.  Good to have options.  The layers are 3.00" square.  The card stock strips are .5 inch by 5.5 or 4.25 inches.

The cards can be oriented in either wide or tall orientation.  The inserts provided allow the maker to choose.

This kit puts me in good shape for my June Christmas Stack Class.

R2G Christmas Stack Kit - Winter Frost

Here's the next Ready 2 Go Stack Kit designed with the 6x6 inch One Sheet Wonder cutting plan.
For this kit I used the Winter Frost 6x6 DSP pack. the designs I selected are this small snowflake and the other is bolder chain looking design. I choose Pool Party for the cards for this set.  I chose Basic Gray for the greeting, the square and the strip for the snowflake paper and Island Indigo for the bold chain design.  I ran out of Pool Party so I made 1 card in each design with the colors reversed (Basic Gray card with Pool Party layers) for the ornament.

The DSP and the strip were aligned with the fold and then trimmed on the open side as needed. The greeting layer is mounted over the strip with 3D foam tape.
The stamp sets I selected are: Calm Christmas, Keepsake Ornaments with Owl Occasions greeting and Come to Bethlehem.
You can check out the Season of Style red and green kit here.
