Ready 2 Go Christmas Card Kit - Set 10

Working on card kits for my stack card class on November 4th.

I started with a red card in the landscape orientation.

I added a piece of red plaid metallic paper which was cut to 4.00 x 5.25 inches and adhered to the front

I added the Christmas green tree brad to the gold foil NOEL label cut with the Stampin Up Apothecary Framelits. I made a hole with a push pin, inserted the brad and pressed the prongs apart at the back. I added 2 pieces of 3D foam tape and adhered it to the card front.

The gold fabric snowflake was adhered in the top left hand corner with a Bling Zot.

I started with a red card in the portrait orientation.

I cut a layer of green card stock to 4.00 x 5.25 inches.  I added a length of red cotton ribbon aligned left of center and taped the ends to the back. The layer was then adhered to the card front.

The musical holly accent square as adhered to the card front over the ribbon with 4 pieces of 3D foam tape.

I added a greeting in the bottom right hand corner.  It was color printed and punched out with the Stampin Up Modern Label punch.

It was adhered to the card front with 3D foam tape.

Christmas Card Challenge - White Circle - Doily Wreath

This card is for my blog Christmas Card Challenge for July which is White Circle.

I chose a white doily for the main element which measures 4.5 inches.  I chose to put it on an A6 white card.  I glued some white fabric snowflakes around the interior circle of the doily.  I then put a few iridescent sequins held in place with tiny white brads.

I used a greeting from my stash in a purple color and tacked it below the wreath and trimmed it to the card edges.

I placed a few more fabric snowflakes & sequin combos with a couple on the greeting and a couple in each top corners.

I wanted a subtle white on white textured card.  I really like the texture the doily provides.

I am pairing this card with a Pop Tone Black Licorice A6 black envelope which was provided by Paper Garden.

Have you started on your Christmas cards?  Summer time with a slower pace is a good time to get started or get a stack of cards made.

Postage Stamp Trees

After I took out postage stamps for my class this week I sorted some green ones to create these cards.

I glued them to some dark green card stock and let them dry.  I cut triangles 2" wide and 3.5 inches tall. I then layered them onto red card stock leaving a tiny border.

I created a greeting layer with a triangle tree and a sentiment printed in Handsome Hunter.  This layer was trimmed to leave a small border onto a dark green card.

I added a gold star sequin at the top of the tree held in place with a tiny gold star brad.

Another few cards for my Christmas card stash.  Very good.

Card Club - May - 4 Squares

This is a nice simple card to start.  I used some coordinating designer 12x12 card stock from a pad by SEI - Nutmeg.  Pads are nice because they provide automatic card stocks usually solids and patterned that work together.
The greeting layer was designed and printed on ivory card stock.  The cross on the left makes aligning the squares very easy.  Printing was Early Espresso.  It was trimmed to leave a small border and adhered to a paprika color card.
I punched 1.5 inch squares from 2 different designer card stocks - green and brown with my Creative Memories punch.  The opposite corners were corner rounded and then I adhered them with the pointed corners into the center.

R2Go Christmas Kit - Holy Family

The Holy Family layer measures 3.25 x 4.5 inches.

Using a piece of 12x12 silver metallic card stock I cut a layer to leave a small border.  The holy family is adhered to the silver metallic layer.

The greeting layer is color printed with a purple frame and a green greeting.  It is cut to 4.00 x 5.25 inches.

I selected a hunter green card.

The greeting layer is adhered to the card front.  Then the holy family accent layer is adhered to the purple greeting layer.

Christmas Thank You Card

I made finished up my Christmas thank you cards today.  This is one of them.

I chose a photo that I took over the holidays of a vintage green ornament with a bokeh sparkling background.  I printed and trimmed it.

I chose a bright green card which coordinated well with the colors in the ornament.

I created greeting layer with a red border and a green greeting below it.  This was printed on quarter sheet then trimmed to very close to the red border.  It was adhered to the card front.

I mounted the green ornament photo cut to 3.5x3.5 inches with 3D foam tape inside the red border.

Card Club - November - White Dove on Star

I started with the felt star ornament.  I added a red and gold glitter ribbon through the hanger.

I designed the greeting layer, printed it on white card stock and trimmed it to leave a small border. I adhered it to a grey card front.

I printed a clipart earth onto vellum and gold embossed them.  I punched them out with a 1.75 inch circle punch by Stampin Up.

I placed the ornament on the card front, used a push pin to create a hole through to the inside of the card front for the brad.  I inserted the prongs of the white dove brad through and spread the prongs apart on the inside of the card.

Trimmed the ends of the ribbon.
