Thank You Cards

I made thank you cards for those who helped with the Wall Christmas Tree project.

I started with a pea green textured card.

I embossed a white layer with Cuttlebug Thanks Words folder.  I adhered it to the card front with double sided tape.

I cut a triangle tree from SU Gumball Green and embossed it with a Cuttlebug lines folder.

The tree and the star confetti were attached to the card front with 3D foam tape.

These are on their way!

Thank You Cards

These cards are for those people who provided support during the process.  For those of you who have been through it - you need your friends at a time like this.

This card started with a bright green card.

I added a mottle pattern piece of designer paper in bright greens which was cut to 4.00 x 5.5 inches.  It was adhered leaving a small border.

I wrapped a white doily around the left edge and adhered it to the card front.

I added a navy greeting punched with the 2 inch circle punch with a larger navy circle cut with one of the Spellbinder Nestabililites thin-lits.  This was adhered with 3D foam tape.

This card started with a Kiwi Kiss card base.

I added a piece of the same mottled bright green designer paper. I wrapped a piece of light blue seam binding around the designer paper and knotted it to the front.  It was adhered to the card front.

I added a label cut with the Spellbinder Nestabilities Labels 13 in the same card stock.  I adhered a light blue card stock star cut with the Stampin Up Star Framelits and a silver star confetti held in palce with a green mini brad. The label was then adhered to the card front.

I added the oval greeting which was printed in blue and punched with the 2 inch oval punch.  It was adhered over the ribbon with 3D foam tape.

R2Go Christmas Kit - Bethlehem Triptych

I'm working on Ready 2 Go Stack kits for my class on June 5.

It features a Bethlehem Triptych with a gold foil greeting.  It is 3.5 x 4.75 inches.

I chose a navy card.

I trimmed the 12x12 gold metallic card stock to 4.00 x 5.25 inches which leaves a small border.  This layer was adhered to the card front.

I added 3 gold star confetti adhered below the greeting with Bling Zots.  I placed the center one first then evenly space the other two on either side.

Christmas Card Order - Manger #1

I received an order for Christmas cards recently.  The client created her own manger sentiment of the inside so she wanted card fronts that would speak to the child born in the manger.

This is a Holy Family decor set I photographed at a garden center several years ago.  I love the monochromatic feel to the image.  I printed it onto white card stock but decided after ward I wanted it warmer.  Out came the Tim Holtz Antique Linen Distress Stain and I applied it along the border and it was just what I needed.  I trimmed the image along the thin border then adhered it to a dark warm green card.  I was fortunate that the figures were quite tall so I placed my greeting along the bottom edge of the card front.  I punched a Stampin Up Modern label punchie from dark grey green and an ivory greeting with the SU Word Window.  These were adhered together then mounted to the card front with 3D foam tape.

I pulled out my trusty Bethlehem image for this one.  I added a starry night and made all the elements the same color, Cherry Cobbler.  I printed it onto a quarter sheet of white card stock, trimmed it to leave a small border and adhered it to the card front of a red card.  I had left space in the top right hand corner for a large gold confetti star which was adhered in place with a Zot.

I made some of the same design in Night of Navy.

This stained glass nativity is one of several I own.  I added a tealight behind the arch background as it was designed. I photographed it against a white background.  I was able to play with the image in post production to have several different colors.
I created the layer as a 3.5x5 photo with the greeting below.  I cut a layer of gold card stock to leave a small border and adhered it to the front of a kraft colored card.
The nativity was trimmed to make it 3.5x4.75 inches and it was adhered to the onto the gold layer.
I added a strip of the gold card stock over the line between the image and the greeting.
