R2G Card Kit - Layered Floral Ovals

Another Ready 2 Go card kit for my class in April. I chose the Stampin Up! Holiday Lounge DSP in White, Ruby Red, and Sahara Sand.  I cut the DSP with the Top Note die then I cut the smooth ovals with SB Nestabilities but SU sells the Ovals Collection Framelits!  I color printed the flowers from the SU digital stamp from the PUNCH BUNCH STAMP BRUSH SET on white in Ruby Red and Sahara Sand for the stems. The top note is adhered to the card front then the 2 ovals are adhered together layered one on top of the other.  This element is then adhered to the card front with 3D foam tape. The back of the card was stamped with the SU credit stamp.

R2G Card Kit - HMP Flower Trio

I started with the HMP Flowers.  I choose a coordinating color for the card.  I added a designer paper piece to which I glued a silver scallop border die cut made with Die-namics die.  The greeting was color printed and cut with a QuicKutz oval die. I rubbed the edges with teal ink pad. I opened the card flat and evenly spaced the flowers below the scallop border. I added the small silver flowers and used a push pin to create the hole for the brads through the card front.  Placed the brads and pressed the prongs apart on the inside of the card.

Card - HB - Blue Damask

I made this card with SU! Beau Chateau Designer Paper.  I used a Marina Mist card onto which I layered a piece of damask in Marina Mist and Very Vanilla.  I placed a piece of Marina Mist taffeta ribbon along the length of the damask piece and taped the end to the back. Then, this piece was adhered to the card front. I cut the color printed greeting with the smaller of nested QuicKutz oval die and the deep blue green card stock was cut the larger oval die. This was mounted over the ribbon with 3D foam tape. I then tied a short piece of ribbon above the greeting.

Card - Exchange - Clown Fish Scallop

I made a couple of these for my card exchange group.  I had a couple of these left over from card kits so I decide to use them as they are sitting on my work space.
I used Green Galore for the card and stamped it Basic Black with one of my SU! Itty Bitty Backgrounds.  I cut the fish with a round SB Nestabilities then cut the orange with the corresponding scallop circle. I mounted the scallop circle onto the card with 3D foam tape.  I cut the greeting with QuicKutz oval then stamped the greeting with a clear stamp.  I mounted the oval greeting with 2 brads. I added a bit of orange ribbon in the second hole to create a bit of a fin effect to go with the fish theme.

Cmas Card Challenge - April - Grape/Sage/Mustard

This was a tough color combo.  I've dreamed up 5 or 6 different designs today to finally get this one done!
I started with a sage green card.  I glued the decorative paper which contains the colors to card stock to give it some stiffness.  I used spray adhesive which worked really well.  Once it had pressed for about 1 hour I cut the 8.5x11 into quarters then cut the Tim Holtz Ornamental Die with the Joy Mover and Shaper in the top half.  I placed some clear packing tape on the back of the die over the oval word hole. After turning over the die I placed gold glitter over the sticky part of the tape around the word Joy. I used SB Nestabilities to cut the grape colored frame around the word.  I tied a antique gold very soft ribbon around the bottom third of the die and knotted it.  I mounted the die to the card front.  I color printed the "to the World" words on sage card stock and punched it out with the SU Word Window punch.  I mounted that to the card front with foam tape.
