Christmas Cards to the Gallery

I stamped Angelica by Stampendous onto a quarter sheet of white card stock with clear ink and gold embossed it.

I placed some dye ink onto my craft mat and spritz it with water.  I then layed my angel image onto the mat and pulled it off to reveal this wonderful background.  It was left to dry then pressed to be flat.

I trimmed it to leave a small border. I chose a blue purple card base.  I adhered the stamped layer to the front.

I printed a greeting in french and punched it out with the Stampin Up Modern Label punch.  I punched another from the card base color and cut it in half crosswise and adhered them offset on both ends.  The greeting was adhered with 3D foam tape.

The polar bear was cut with the Cricut and the Joy of the Season cartridge.  The scarf was cut separately and then adhered to the bear.

I chose a deep blue liquid acrylic background and adhered it to the medium blue card base.  I added a snowbank of white card stock cut with the Creative Memories Wavy Cutter.  The bear was adhered to the left of the card and a silver glitter star was adhered top right corner.

These were deposit to the gallery today.

Angelica

I went looking in extras stash to find a few elements to whip up some cards for the sale tomorrow.

This is Angelica by Stampendous gold embossed on white card stock.  I put a few drops of blue and pink ink onto my crafty mat and spritzed it with my mister bottle.  I just dropped the quarter sheet right onto the color and pull it up.  I let it dry and resisted ironing it to flatten which would have removed my gold embossing.  Pressing works well to flatten if you have the time.

I chose a coordinating card in non traditional pink.  I trimmed the angel leaving a small border and mounted to the card front.

Quarter sheet insert was added.

Christmas Card Challenge - Oct - Angel Vellum Stamping

I chose Angelica from Stampdendous as my stamp.  It happens to be an angel which I stamped with craft ink on vellum then clear embossed it.  I chose to match the ink color and the card color in this case a deep Hunter Green from Stampin Up.  The greeting is from the SU Teeny Tiny Wishes stamp set.  I cut the backer from aqua card stock with the Tim Holtz Arch Frame which highlights the angel nicely.  I attached the vellum to the backer with 3 tiny brads a star one for the top and 2 round ones for each corner.  This layer was then adhered to the card front with double sided tape.  I find this angel just a bit on the big side for an A2 card so it presents some challenges when designing a card.
