Card - Watercolor - Belated Birthday

A large watercolor card for a teen who is heading into her last year of school in the fall.

The birthday was back in April but I got to deliver this card in person and it included a bit of mad money.  There is a big trip coming up in July so it will come in handy.

I used left overs from my senior show entries and cut a piece tall and narrow.

I added circles with a small glass vase dipped the same color that was still sitting o my palette.  How handy!

I then added petals, stems and leaves.

Then a bit of spattering.

I mounted it on a single layer of card stock in Stampin Up Lovely Lilac.

I added a single sheet of insert on the back and tucked the moola behind it.

Loved the visit with this family.

Gold & Burgundy Nativity Panel Card

I mentioned the other two designs in this post and here's the selection the couple made.

As mentioned earlier, this is a 5x7 panel card with a 4x6 photo adhered in the center of the frame printed on the front of the panel  The image is a nativity I photographed several years ago to which I applied a filter to soften the image a bit.  I also applied a photo edge in white which provided an uneven edge to the image which I think works well. It had lovely velvet curtains in the background so I chose to repeat that color for the frame on the front.

The back of the panel was customized with a scripture verse, a sentiment and the name of the couple.

Christmas Cards - 5x7 Panels

I received a last minute Christmas card order.  These are two of the three options I presented.  They are 5x7 panel cards with a 4x6 photo placed in the center of the frame.

For the one on the left I used my Alphabet Photography with JOY to the World featuring burgundy accents in the frame around the letters, in the words of the greeting and the printed frame on the panel front.

For the one on the right I designed a Christmas sentiment with a selection of words and graphic elements.  I added color with a yellow star, the burgundy JOY and the green in the Christmas.  It is very graphic and will not be everybody's cup of tea.

The back of the panels were customized with a scripture verse, an appropriate sentiment and the couple's name.

I will reveal the one they selected a little later.

BBQ Panel Invitation

I got a call from a lady who is the daugther in law of a lady from church.  She is hosting a BBQ in June to get to know her neighbours better and needed a few invitations made. She asked if I be interested in making the invitations.  Of course!  She send me the details and a bit of information on what she preferred.

This is what I can up with.  I designed the pennant banner myself.  The flowers are from CLKER.  I chose Stampin Up Always Artichoke and Summer Sun for the most of the elements. The flowers are Regal Rose.  I printed the half sheet panel on white card stock then trimmed it.  I adhered it to a Summer Sun panel measuring 5.5 x 8.5 inches.  I included white half sheet envelopes as well.   I think it turned out really nice.  I delivered them last night and she was very happy with them! Another happy customer.
