Cards - Christmas Snowflakes

This background paper is wrapping paper.  I liked the color scheme so I brought it home from ReUse despite having too much designer paper already.

I cut it to leave a border on the A2 card of SU Ballet Blue card stock.

I cut the snowflakes with the Stampin Up Snow Flurry Bigz die from white and Tempting Turquoise card stock.

The solid circle is punched with the 1.75 inch punch.  These were layered and aligned along the left hand side of the card.  All held in place with a white mini brad.

Full half sheet blank insert with a white envelope.

This card features a SU Lovely Lilac textured A2 card base.

A background of lovely mosaic purple toned wrapping paper.

I cut the snowflakes with the Snow Flurry Bigz Die.  Punched a circle of 1" from the same card stock as the card base.

All held in place with a mini brad in a warm purple color.

I added a banner along the bottom edge from the card base card stock.

I may add a greeting later.

Full white insert to cover the brad tabs showing on the inside of the card.  White envelope to finish.

This was very versatile paper because I made 4 cards with 4 different colored card bases.

This card base is Orchid Opulence in an A2 size with landscape orientation.

I cut the snowflakes with SU Snow Flurry Bigz die.  The middle snowflake was cut from Pacific Point card stock.

These are all held in place with a purple mini brad.

I complete forgot that I would use silver on some of these cards. It is what it is.

Full half sheet insert and white envelope.

The card base on this card is Bashful Blue in an A2 size.

I cut the snowflakes with the Stampin Up Snow Flurry Bigz die.

The smaller snowflake is Brilliant Blue and the stack of die cuts are held in place to the card front with a snowflake specialty brad.

I added a strip of the card color under the snowflake stack.

Full half sheet insert and white envelope.

Glad to have a few Christmas cards in my box as it is nearly half way through the year.

Happy with these.

R2Go Christmas Stack - Prism Snowflakes & Trees

I started with a navy card base.

I tacked a 4" square of vellum leaving even borders top and bottom.

I added the silver metallic ribbon wrapped around the card front and taped to the front over the vellum where the accent will cover it.

The snowflake element starts with a small white sequin then a silver fiber one, then the prism one and finally the Stampin Up Snow Flurry white one cut from card stock.  Make holes as needed in each of the snowflakes. These are held together with a navy mini brad where the prongs are spread apart on the back.

Adhere the snowflake element with the 3D foam tape.

Glue the quarter sheet insert.

I started with a warm green card base.

I assembled my trees by cutting the black strip into 3 pieces then adding one to each tree with a tiny brad. The trees are adhered to the card front with double sided tape.

Remove the star & Zot from release paper and adhere to card front at the top of the tree one at a time.

Rip the white paper to create your snowbank.  Trim it to the card edge if necessary.

Layer the white circle greeting onto the black larger circle. Add the 3D foam tape to the back and adhere to card front as shown.  Glue the quarter sheet insert to the inside.

Countdown Calendar - Christmas Cheer DSP

I made another Countdown Calendar this evening as I sold a couple this afternoon.

This is a 6x8 black wood frame which is wide enough to just stand on it's own.  I used Stampin Up Christmas Cheer designer paper on this side.  I added snowflakes cut with the Snow Flurry die. The large in Very Vanilla, medium in warm white pearl and small in black to repeat the color in the frame.  I cut 3 more small ones from Very Vanilla. I printed the sentiment in black on a Very Vanilla strip 2" by 6 inches wide. I placed the large snowflake accent near the bottom left hand corner.

This is the back side of the same paper.  I used the banner from the Eventful Year - Embellishment digi set and used the colors Cherry Cobbler, Marina Mist and Always Artichoke.  I printed it on vellum and clear embossed it.  Again, I printed the sentiment on Very Vanilla in black letters on a strip 2 x 6 inches wide.

I used the word celebrate this time which can lend itself to other occasions like countdown to an anniversary party, a wedding, or other special occasion.  This design as well is a little more mature in design.

Ready2Go Christmas Stack Kit - Snowflake Blues

Another Christmas Stack kit.

This one based on the Stampin Up Snow Flurry Bigz die.  I decided to create the same layout in 3 different card colors of warm blue from dark to light: Not Quite Navy, Blue Bayou and Baja Breeze.

I cut the label with the Apothecary Label thin die in Pool Party card stock.  I cut the large snowflake from the same color card stock as the card, the next one in Whisper White and added a warm blue confetti snowflake in the center.  These are all held together with a tiny white brad.

The greeting layer was done on Whisper White with the greeting matching the card color.  The greeting is from the Teeny Tiny Wishes stamp set.  It was trimmed to leave a decent border and adhered to the blue card.  The snowflake accent was then adhered to the greeting layer with 3D foam tape.

Please check my R2Go Stack Kits tab for availability.

Snowflakes On Red

I started with a Stampin Up Real Red card. Once I determined I where I needed lines I scored them at the top and bottom on my MS score tool.  I cut the snowflakes from Whisper White with the Snow Flurry Bigz die.  I placed my snowflakes in between the lines I had scored and adhered them to the card front.  I stamped the greeting and embossed it with white embossing powder.  The greeting is from the Sweet Essentials stamp set.  I cut narrow strips of gold glitter card stock and placed those along the embossed lines at the top and bottom.  I repeated the gold by adding a punched circle of gold glitter in the center of the largest snowflake.

Card - A Christmas Wish

I created this card with several challenges in mind.
I started with a Stampin Up Whisper White card on which I printed a thin border on the card front in Pool Party.  I cut 3 pieces of Winter Frost DSP then applied them to non SU glossy card stock in an aqua which matches Pool Party leaving a small border. I glued them evenly spaced on the card front. I stamped the greeting "A Christmas Wish" from the Home for Christmas stamp set in Baja Breeze and clear embossed it.  I used a square punch to flag both ends of the greeting.  I cut 2 snowflakes with the Snow Flurry Bigz die.  The larger one in the glossy aqua card stock and the smaller in white pearl card stock.  The greeting was placed over the 3 panels and the snowflakes layered and placed to the left of the greeting.
